South Bend, IN – Today, Congressman Joe Donnelly hosted the second of two job fairs he organized for the month of August.  Over 900 people attended the event held at Indiana University South Bend, which featured businesses, educational institutions, and retraining programs from St. Joseph, Elkhart, Kosciusko, Marshall, and Porter counties.

“I’m committed to ensuring that every opportunity is presented to connect employers with the talented Hoosier workforce,” said Donnelly.  “I was pleased to host the job fair in South Bend today because by bringing together businesses, continuing education and retraining providers, and folks looking for their next job, we can keep the Hoosier economy moving forward.”

Congressman Donnelly also hosted a job fair earlier this month in Kokomo, where over 450 people attended the event featuring businesses and educational institutions from Howard, Cass, Carroll, and other area counties.
